Paul Hislop – Drums

Paul is known as “Dr. Smooth” for his solid smooth drumming style you can hear throughout the Skidder Road CD. We believe you will find Paul’s drum work on “The Old Solder” powerful and emotionally stirring. Paul on drums and Claudia on bass comprised a solid rhythm section for several bands including a stint with the John Lackard Blues Band. Paul’s successful drumming career is far too long to mention here. Currently, Paul is the drummer for Blue Fox and the Rockin’ Daddys, one of Vermont’s finest blues bands. Paul is the house drummer at John’s open mic at Gusto’s bar. Paul’s drumming is the solid foundation upon which Skidder Road is built.
